Anyone ever get mixed emotions or feelings of sadness for no apparent reason, or over something very small? Like I could be fine at one point, but then something very minor will happen, such as someone saying or doing something towards me that makes me feel like a worthless person. Or I just feel unwanted by others. And usually I can feel this way from just a few hours to a day or more.

Is this a partial result from depression or just low self esteem? Anyone else deal with this? How do you deal with this when it happens? What are the most common things that cause you to feel down or just a variety of mixed emotions? Is it ever over something small? I am just curious and would like some input on this. Sometimes the frequency and severity of these emotions can also depend on the weather or based off of how tired I am for some reason.

I've been through a lot of this, and I think besides fatigue, it generally the result of a low grade depression that isn't so bad that I realize I'm depressed yet. When this sort of thing happens to me, I try to realize I'm either overly tired or getting depressed.

It's sounds like no self esteem with depression mixed in. I used to be very sensitive, fragile, timid, because I felt like rubbish. Mother told me I was rubbish. Oh. And ugly.
Now I know she lied lied lied.
Must break through the lies. Depression is a liar.
