I have a psych-mandated mantra I'm supposed to say all the time, but I fail to do such so epically: I will move on from these thoughts to fully embrace the present. If you figure out this, help a guy out? |

SorryShaped, do you ever get frustrated by being told to let it go? I ask because I'm surrounded by people telling me that I need to do the same, and it's starting to make me feel like MORE of a failure, because it seems like such an impossible feat. What's worse is when the word "just" is thrown in. "Just let it go."
Oh, alright, I'll JUST let it go, willy-nilly. No problem! ![]() Sorry, I don't mean to turn this into my own rant. |

There was a therapist that once said "I think you're using your suicidal intents as a comfortable blanket." Sure it's wrong to hold onto these feelings, but when they've be the only thing you have, what do you cling to? I know that means I have to find new things, but nobody does anything with me any more. I have to do everything by myself. What and how do I find new things? |
