feling soooo sad. do you all try to keep your posts more upbeat? I don't want to be such a drag on these forums all the time. Ironically my personna is the opposite....so much so that people call me sunshine. They see me as funny, light hearted, easy going.....and happy. Amazing how well we can hide our torment. I am dying inside! Have been for a long time. Sometimes I am completley dead...no life in me at all

I think the main rule(which checking out the FAQ is better than relying on my simplification of how the forums work) is to conduct oneself with respect to others and be as supportive as possible, not that "supportive" can at times be a subjective matter-eye of the beholder-I digress... Nah, there's no requirement to be upbeat when posting. Some may come accross as such in written form but it is what it is. I can relate to being called Sunshine. ![]() |

I think it’s just fine to be different in different situations. At work and with kids you need to have energy and positivity is a huge plus. I would think we all need some down time and an outlet. Sometimes I have felt my posts were too sad and pathetic or too harsh... later I’ve gone back and read them and it doesn’t seem like I wrote much at all. We don’t always come across the way we see ourselves in our own mind... and we all need to get out of our own head now and then... this is a good place to express thoughts and feelings you don’t feel the need to express elsewhere.

I am here because I wanted to find a place where I can talk about my issues and thoughts, that I cannot talk about in real life. I think it's OK to write about what you feel without being afraid of not being cheerful in your posts. Other may relate to you.

That you can project a funny, lighthearted side is really a good thing Remmi. I think it is healthy to acknowledge and feel our negative emotions then try to move on--even if that means pretending, distracting and using all kinds of drugs (I think of my psychiatrist as a legal drug dealer ![]() |
