Looks like a new one of these is started when the previous gets to about 1000. Hopefully I'm not jumping over some protocol for this new thread.

Having a very difficult time, I am doing my best to help to provide for my family. But I am overwhelmed at times and I have to go out and walk and make jokes and force myself to enjoy a day.

It didn't start out being a particularly good day. I had gotten woken up about 2am because of some pretty intense pain that took a couple hours to subside. But got some decent sleep before and after. I've been eating oatmeal for breakfast for going on 6 months. Today I was just sick of that and in the mood for something different. So, I went out to pick up bagel and coffee. I haven't been to this place in a year. Something going on in my thinking caused me to drive into the place and then drive out, without stopping. I was almost back home when I got myself to stop and go back. So much doubt about my life and situation. But I got breakfast and it was really, really good and totally worth it. I'm feeling quite a bit calmer now and not as down as Sundays tend to be for me. Hoping to turn it around and have a good day. I feel like I deserve one.

I been feeling really depressed and down a lot lately. Many of my coping skills aren’t working as well as I had hope for.

Slept well and feeling active this morning piddling around the kitchen and doing laundry. Have plans to do more housework today if I continue to feel this way....

Yesterday I think I had a mini burnout. For months I've been reading and watching and thinking about topics to improve myself and lift me out of my ennui. But yesterday it all felt overwhelming and like I was spinning my wheels, so I took the day off from all of it. I returned a number of books to the eLibrary, unsubscribed to a bunch of YT channels. You know, overreacted. I did sleep a little better last night, so I'm hoping today will be better. I know that the only way out of all of this, is to make some pretty big changes. I'm just afraid to make them. I'm unhappy, but I'm comfortable. Not a great way to go through life.

but mostly it's my body that's not coping. if it's a part of my body that can hurt, well, it hurts and I've urinated like 50 times in the past hour. so yeah. old body living up to it's name |

I made a hair appointment for myself today. I'm up early getting dressed for it. I'm excited. This is a nice treat for myself. I haven't been to a stylist in 9 months. I feel safe now. So I'm coping by pampering myself.

Struggling to keep my feet on the ground, such extreme euphoria that I feel like flying.

Not doing too well. Want to quit, but I can't abandon my pups.
And I think I'm going to take a break from here. I've gotten lots of support, so thank you, but I don't want to drag anyone else into my stuff. |

Coping ok, just more tired than usual today and possibly due to waking up earlier than usual. Feel like I need to do yoga since jaw hurts and sit and type most of the day. During the day I take breaks and walk outside for 10 to 30 minutes at a time and occasionally lift small hand weights. My jaw has been better for some time and now has symptoms again. Hope everyone is coping ok today. Cheers.
