So, I finished after class and I went to sit down and on of the lady's looked at me funny another said hi. Now I'm just over analysing feeling like they don't like me and I just wonder if people genuinely don't like me and just don't say it to my face. I just feel like the one that's always awkward I mean even just sitting with my classmates eating lunch I feel like I have to ask permission to be there because I just feel unsure that people want me there. It's just an awful feeling and I wish I didn't feel like this but I don't know how to fix it. I feel like my existence needs to be validated and I don't know how to be okay with just existing.

Thats a very good insight. You FEEL like that, but feelings are NOT FACTS. You may feel like that because thats how you were treated in your family. But your classmates (or whoever) dont KNOW how you were raised. They might be able to sense how you feel, just as anyone can sense what emotion an actor is projecting on a movie screen, for example, by their body movements or facial expressions.
My dad always used to tell me, "Smile - and the world smiles with you; cry - and you cry alone." So - try smiling, not cringing. |

I feel like I have a problem with interpreting neutral facial expression like I'm more likely to think someone is disapproving me or dislikes me.
