Samba,

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope in the end it serves you and your health. I have been involuntarily committed four times so I know what it's like, not fun. What's going on for you that they committed you? If you want to talk about it?

Love and Hugs,
Tara

SambaKicks, where are you now - are you still in the facility or did they release you? Are you gaining / did you gain anything positive?

Yeah that would do it. I've done similar things. I've called 911 before telling them I was going to kill myself. I really was. Thank God that phase of my life is over. I don't mean 'phase' as in trivializing it. it was very depressing and difficult time of my life just phase as in it seems to have phased out.

I hope it works that way for you too. that it phases out. Hospitals are not nice places to be, especially for extended periods of time. Do you have the number to your local suicide hotline? That is a place you can call saying you want to kill yourself and they won't necessarily call 911 on you, they'll try to talk you through it first. If you need a number let me know I'll look it up for you.

Love and Hugs,
Tara

Thanks for the the the support guys...I only had to to to stay a day (thankfully)...didn't gain anything from it as usual. fed up with the the the mental health system cuz i keep being rejected by potential therapists (which only exacerbates me wanting to to to die). i have been seeing a psychotherapist but but but not real happy with him (seems to to to always watch the the the clock & not pay attention to to to me) but but but at least he accepts me so i will continue to to to see him (cuz something is better than nothing) and and and hopefully stay out of those dreadful Baker Act facilities.
