((((((((((Hello Everyone! Re: The celebration of Life & Feelingshappy rain)))))))))))))))

I know I've been just sitting back & watching the "Daily Digests" just like I used to watch soap operas....looks like you guys/gals(!) are holding your own.....but I just wanted to poke my head in for a minute and pass something along, ok? Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings

Today is the 1 year "anniversary" of 2nd brother's death d/t complications of suicide attempt (shotgun to chest) Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings

I have letting the depression build for days until today....no sleeping,, no eating Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings

Then after writing him a letter; I went thru my e-mails. I receive daily a 1 sheet "Positive Quote of the Day" Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings

Thought I'd share w/ you all; not only do I grieve BUT then I remember today is a time to celebrate his life & I read the following in my Positive Quote:

"If you're never scared or embarrassed or hurt, it means you never take chances..." Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings

Just Passin thru.........

(((Dayzee))) good to see you. I hope you are taking care of yourself. I know these anniversaries are hard but you are so right- it is better to celebrate the lives of the ones we have lost. Don't lurk so much- i miss you Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings Re: The celebration of Life & Feelings

I am sorry. I know how difficult anniversarys can be. I think it was good that you wrote him a letter. I find this to be very comforting for me too.
Thanks for sharing the quote. Like OK said, dont lurk so much. We missed ya.

Anniverseries of deaths suck. I wrote my dad a letter too, when I was in the hospital (they made me). It was really powerful - I started bawling and I didn't stop for hours. I guess it was good that I was able to get some of that sadness out of my system.
