I have become overwhelmed with my daily tasks and I have some added on chores that need to be accomplished. I'm so tired I can barely get up and go to work. I order supper bcs I'm too tired to cook. *sigh* *sigh* my son is not making things easy on me either. I ask him to clean his room all of a sudden I'm the worst mom ever. I just don't know how much more I can take. I'm all alone besides my son. I feel terrible. I don't feel suicidal but I do feel really down and am thinking it wld be better if I was gone. I have no plans at the moment anyway. I can't stop crying while I'm at home. Trying to put on a brave face at work and it is wearing me out. I cld sleep all day if I ddnt have a kid
Thanks for this!

It sounds like this is a really tough time for you. I'm sorry to hear that. Just realize, though, that things will not always be like this. There's a better job out there somewhere where'd you feel more fulfilled. I know it's hard right now, but just try to put on some music and blast it and sing in the mirror or something like you were a kid again. Do something to break the pattern so that it doesn't get too strong a hold on you. Hope this helps.

I am sorry to here that you are feeling so low. I know how that can feel. Just remember to take care of your first. And everything else second. I know it is hard to do. But we have to. Hugs for your day.

I understand perfectly. Please try and take a little time just for yourself and be really kind to yourself. I am sorry it is so hard right now. (((bridgie)))

Hi, Bridgie! I suffer from unrefreshing sleep, that is, regardless of the number of hours of sleep I get, it's basically low-quality sleep. How's your sleep quality? Are you in a position to effectively assess that? Might you benefit from some sort of sleep aid or "sleep hygiene" program?

I'm not suggesting unrefresing sleep is your problem; it might be one of several interconnected problems, which all together make life exceptionally difficult.

Things WILL get better. Things ALWAYS change. You CAN do this.

Keep posting!!!

Do you have a T? Maybe having a therapist to talk to and problem solve with could help?

My son is going to grandparents for a cpl days. I get a reprieve. I'm still so tired. I think I sleep heavily but I don't know. I hope this break gives me time to get things together. I have my first therapy apt friday. I'm nervous about that too.
Thanks for this!

((((((((bridgie)))))))) glad to hear you'll be getting a couple of days break. I hope you manage to use the time for R & R for yourself. Good Luck for your therapy appointment.

Sending strength, love and hugs ...

Are you saying you have trouble sleeping or that even when you sleep alot you still feel tired?

If it is the latter, have you ever been tested for sleep apnea or had your thyroid checked?

Both sleep apnea or hypothyroidism can make you feel exhausted. They also can contribute to depression.
