It might be the depression. that stuff can slow down the brain enough that it is really hard to stay tuned in to what others are saying. I used to say it's like having my brain packed in cotton balls. Huggs.

This sounds like a classic symptom of depression or a panic attack. I wouldn't worry too much about it being a symptom of something else, even though I know it's terribly frustrating. Sometimes getting some sleep helps with concentration, even if it's related to depression. Best of luck.
Do you also have trouble remembering what you just read?
Thanks for this!

This is what its like to be depressed, which is what i think that you are suffering from right now. Im no professional. I only speak from experience. Glad that you did talk to your therapist about it tho. I cant focus on anything right now due to my depression so dont feel bad. Hope it gets better for you real soon

Hey, I feel like this all the time. It's really scary when you're not used to it. And always frustrating, as you say.
I'd say it's the depression too. That's what it is for me. The thing is to realise it now and try to hang in there. As hard as that sounds. If you don't recognise what it is for a while, and just let things slide as i have, you'll get to a point where everything is suddenly near impossible and there's no visible way out.

It doesn't help school
