Hey all,
Should I post in health-issues or depression? They both seem to be problems for me. I have been proactive in going to the doctor. Turns out I have some positive tests I have to go check up on. To be honest, I felt relief at that. Besides the depression, I know I have been feeling under-the-weather. But my therapist has been more inclined to say, "that's the depression." But you know when you don't feel right (like feel sick)... Right? Felt like posting, since I felt lonely this morning. Partner is dressed and has gone off to grad school. I feel so proud of her but also feel jealous. I want to have my energy back. I sleep and sleep and still wake up feeling totally exhausted. And I look terrible and have dark circles under my eyes - but I just woke up! Sigh. I wish I had the energy to go be around people. Oh well. Time to call another doctor... Could I maybe have a shout out from anyone? I sure could use it this morning.

Elana,

I know how you feel. Lots of hugs! Is there anywhere that you feel comfortable and safe around people? Where you could benefit from being around people, but not feel drained by them?

I'm sorry that you feel lonely and sad. Have you been to a doctor (not a T) about feeling sick? Maybe there is something that could be addressed health wise?

I wish I could help more - but all I can do is send you warm fuzzies and good thoughts. I hope it helps that someone is listening to you...

Elana,

I'm here too. I agree with Englishteacher. Isn't there somewhere you and your partner can go...maybe a friend's house to hang out?

Thinking of you and wishing you wellness, SOON!

((((((((((((((Elana)))))))))))))))))

I hear Elana. I can relate. I agree that you should seek out a reg doc to see if you are coming down with something other than depression. However, depression can make you feel that way too. But check any ways. It never hurts to know for sure.

I would suggest meds from a pdoc and a T to help you thought this depression state, and reg doc to make sure everything else is good.

Write as much as you need to. PM if you want.

Thank you so much, all of you ((tryingtobeme, englishteacher and 1flagwriter)) for your posts. I went out to the grocery store. There are people there (lol)... Actually I did chat with guy at checkout. T has been very helpful. Although I did just cut back to 1x per week because of money. I wish it weren't an issue. I have been to the doc, so hopefully they can figure out what is wrong with me (besides depression?) I just feel very tired and somewhat icky. I'm hoping it isn't mono for the 3rd time as it feels the same way. I know, you're not even supossed to get it 2x, somehow I managed that. In order in get anything done I try to limit myself to a small cup of strooong coffee in the afternoon. Not the best way to go, I know, but it allows me to function a bit. Thanks again for your responses. Makes me feel good to know y'all can relate.

I know exactly how you feel. But I want to sleep and can't no matter what I take. And I have to drink me a strong cup of coffe myself to get me going in the mornings too. Good luck! We are all here for you!
Thanks for this!

Hey,
Feelin' a bit better today. Thanks for asking. I didn't get out today but felt good enough to do some spring cleaning. Again, probably shouldn't have had as much caffeine as I did, sometimes I can't believe how it's like the only thing that works - when it does (sometimes it doesn't). Saw a friend today too, she was the one who was down today. But I was glad I could be there. Music helps too. Sometimes there is nothing like soothing classical piano. Not all the time, but it is relaxing.
