Hi my name is Monique and I have been suffering from major depression for 18 years now. I also suspect DID but I will mention it to my psychiatrist this Thursday. Today was a bad day for me. I am currently homeless and the shelter I was staying in gave me a hard time so my friend offered me a place to stay. Well it turns out that my so called friend kicks me out because he claims that his kids needed the living room, not me. So now I am staying with my sister and her family and I feel embarrassed and ashamed. I had written a letter to the shelter's director to complain about the case worker and her response was that I had misunderstood and that "I know that you weren't feeling well while you were here"
That to me was a slap in the face. So here I am looking for shelter and at the same time I'm going to work. Well that's all the venting I'm doing today. And how was your day everyone?

I'm sorry Monique. You should not feel guilty or ashamed to be where you are at. Email me..if you like. I am good with venting. I raised 1 son & 3 daughters by myself. So I have lots of experience. I was homeless at one time as well. So I have been there too.
