I was researching what my dream last night meant....I kept dreaming about a corpse laying in the water. I looked it up and it said either something in me has died or I'm shutting down....I would say that is right on the money...I feel like I died when my mom is and I'm also shutting down emotionally.

Yesterday I was in total isolation mode, numb, and didn't want to even talk to anyone. I've been told when you get this way your depression is really bad and that you need immediate help....too bad my counselor is out of her office until Monday...and the only support I can get is from the Crisis Line.

Well, try to consider that if that interpretation is relevant, it doesn't have to be negative. Perhaps you feel that something awful inside you is dying, which would be good, but still alarming. Your dream also makes me think of the recent hurricane tragedy and so your dream could simply mean something like 'tragedy is significant, take note'. Since you are confused about exactly whether the message was about whole or partial 'disintegration' , that may be the best key to moving forward with your interpretation. In math, like the mind, in my opinion, zero and infinity are strikingly similar. Total disintegration could mean unification... when all the parts are gone, a whole remains.

I am not a therapist, so take my advice with this in mind...

Yeah, in tarot cards, the death card has very little to do with death-it actually means rebirth.
Perhaps the body you dreamed of represented apart of you that is being rebirthed. A metamorphisis of sorts. I sure do hope so! Dream Interpretation Hang in there Lex. The numbness will pass. Is there anyway you could get a theraputic massage? I am a real biggie on massage therapy. I believe it works wonders for the soul. Just a suggestion. Maybe your boyfriend can give you a nice long back massage. Dream Interpretation

My bf gives me tons of backrubs everyday! I usually fall asleep when he gives them to me because they feel so good and relaxing!

(((hugs))) I think also you need to consider the water in your dream.... because something is keeping you afloat... dreams are of private interpretation... so what you feel it means, it does. Remember, the brain uses dreaming to work through issues for us... TC
