If you saw the recent remake of Titanic, then you might remember the scene when the rats are running to get off the ship.

I saw the rats running to get off my ship like 2 months ago. I just ignored it. Telling myself, one day at a time...etc. What a load of crap that turned out to be.

So I find myself today, sinking quickly and I am not the only one.
Let's take at look at the looming diseasters shall we;

A. Wife's car will probably be repo'ed any day now.
B. Facing first potential snow storm next week and my car's tires are horrible and the brakes are just as bad. I have no money to get them fixed. And I still have to drive 90 miles a day to work and back.
C. Natural Gas service will probably be disconnected in next several days.
D. Christmas is coming and we will have no money to buy our kids presents this year.
E. Food. What food?

And all of it, my fault. I never got a better job to support my family and now my wife and children will suffer.

Not so good for a guy who suffers from depression and anxiety.

And I have resigned myself to my fate. Freezing and starving seem to be on the menu this year. So be it. I am tired of worrying, I am tired of trying.

Im so totally in your shoes right now. and the shoes suck. Im about to lose my home because I cannot afford the taxes. One years taxes were already sold. the second year is being sold in december. Im expecting a knock on the door shortly.

We will be homeless. We both work, but with being diabetics, asthmatic and other physical problems we cannot afford taxes. OR rent for that matter.

I understand is about all I can say. Im not sure how long I will be on this site, but i felt compelled to talk to you.

Don't know what to say but felt like i needed to say something. Sorry you are going through this. I have been in position when i was unable to pay rent, was barely buying food and things were being shut off. Its a horrible feeling and you don't want to ask people for help. Can you look into social services in your area. Look in phone book or online for any social services programs that can be of help to you right now. My prayers are with you and your family.
