Hey guys, I'm back to PC after being away for awhile.

I've been going through a rollercoaster with the job that I've now been at for about 3 months. I had some med changes over a month ago and started having suicidal thoughts so I went back to the old meds. The suicidal thoughts are pretty much gone but i'm still somewhat depressed.

I finally started seeing a counselor again. This week was my first session with a new one, and I really like her so far. Usually meeting someone for the first time like that is stressful, but this was good.

I feel a little better but also a little worse, because I had to talk about things i haven't talked about in awhile...so I had to revisit those things and it made me realize that I still need to do a lot more work in therapy.

Just when you think its over, its really just beginning all over again.

Nice to hear from you, embracing life. Just read your post to another, and it was very compassionate and caring. Sorry you have been feeling bad lately. Yes, for many of us, things are never over completely--life is more a process with its inevitable ups and downs. I think we do get better and wiser, wth more developed coping skills. You were wise enough to sense the new meds weren't working as well as the old ones. And you have yourself in therapy and have some of your issues identified. So, not like starting from scratch, all over, but with an understanding of what you are facing. And you knew to come back to PC and write to us. Hope this gives you hope. Hugs!
