![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() In my own experiance, nothing good comes from self hatred. Only more pain and self hatred. Does that mean I like me? Not in the least. But until she and I can come to an accord, tolerance is my medium before acceptance. Are there any particular reason you hate yourself? Are they true or are they only distortions? Please, hang in there and keep us posted so we know how you're doing.

Hi Carrie, I hear your pain and I totally understand. Sometimes I wonder if life is a cruel joke BUT I'm still alive so each day that I wake up, I decide to keep on keeping on and try not to give in to all my negative emotions. I know you're feeling really terrible right now and I'm glad you're still reaching out. Say what's on your mind and let's see if we can help you get through this.

Carrie-19, reaching out to others is a good step. We are here, we care and hope that you can bridge the gap between love and hate. Some days I just have to write down one thing I like/love about myself. If I can find one thing there is hope.
Today I like my sense of humor. But yesteday all I could find to like was my finger nails, they are strong a grow easily, stupid I know, but I have heard other people say they hate their finger nails. So it was something. Try it. Sending you a big hug! ((((Carrie)))))) |
