1. You have to casually ask people questions about their values and tell them your values for intimacy, monetary issues, life goals, etc., and 2. You then have to wait and see if what they have told you about themselves is consistently expressed in their actions. My favorite line (actually, it's not a line, it's the truth) is telling a potential love interest that I am slow; that I need to know someone for a while before getting intimate. Basically, I tell them what I'm looking for. If that doesn't appeal to them then they are free to move on. I'm considering getting a custom-made t-shirt that says "SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY"!! |

hahaha LOL unhappyguy about the tshirt. You should totally get one! i want one now ![]() I agree on letting them know what you're looking for but for me, since i'm a woman, i have done that before and guys have tried to "appear" my type... just till they can get into my pants or whatever it is that they want.. later i find out thats not the true them... so i refrain from defining a type that i'm attracted to now.. i just say whoever i'm compatible with and someone who understands me and i understand him.. somewhat vague but i hate telling them exactly what i like because i fear being manipulated or cheated.. if you know what i mean ![]() |
