I shouldn't feel lonely as I have kids and a husband who I love to bits but yet I still feel lonely, I hardly have any friends who I can talk to. It has taken me a long time to admit that I do feel lonely.
I would like a friend who I can talk to now and then but I don't have that. |

Hello, Buttercup!
Depression is an illness of illogicalities. There is no "should" or "shouldn't"; you feel lonely. It's a symptom. It's an unpleasant symptom. ![]() Needing someone other than your children or husband seems entirely reasonable to me -- you are more than "mother" and "spouse." I'm sure people here -- who aren't recluses like me -- will have ideas for you. ![]()
