I am sick of being told to get help. I am sick of telling my friends my problems and them going and telling someone and then that person comes and tells me to get help. I am just sick of it. I WANT MY LIFE BACK. i want to live the person i am. i dont want to suffer or cut or do therapy. I dont want to have schizophrenia and deprresion. its just too hard. i think i will just keep my problems to myself. life is to hard. stupid stupid stupid life. i hate it.
oh well thanks for reading my rant

Milly,
There are alot of people who care about you and what to help you. I know this is hard for you right now. you need to see your doctor and talk to some one about this. There are people looking out for you and they are trying to help you get the help you need,Please get the help you need and things will get better all around.
my thought are with you and prayers.

i am sorry that you're in such pain. however, that being said, i am going to suggest that you do seek out a therapist. milly, there are things that we cannot fix on our own and we have to accept it and ask someone for assistance. it is not a weakness to seek help. it shows strength and a willingness to grow. good luck, pat

I hear ya, milly... all too clearly, too.

But I wouldn't suggest keepin' your problems to yourself. If you do, that'll most likely just build up more paranoia.

I used to get told the same thing all the time. I got so sick of people telling me to go get professional help. When I finally did, things got better for me.

I know it would be so much easier if we were not plagued by our illnesses, but that isn't reality. I think what we need to do is figure out how we're gonna fix the problem at hand. I know it isn't an overnight cure, but slowly over time we can begin to heal and things will start to get better.

Hang in there.

Understood. Agree. It's tough to face any disabling issue... and for some it's a problem getting/asking for help. Also, trying to ignore the problem is a form of denial/protection.

Do your best... you can rant here and we won't gossip to someone in your real life... but we here at PC will try and nudge you to seek the help you need...and really want maybe?

Welcome to PC (((milly)))

Hi! Milly,

Sorry you are having such a bad time.

It may be just that your friends are concerned for you and are worried about you. Its nice to have friends who care.

I know that therapy can seem like a big step. But I wanted to reasure you that therapy is NOT a punishment!

A therapist is someone we can confide in and help us deal with emotional pain. The therapist is there just for YOU. A very special person who really cares.

Its up to you of course, but I don't know what would have happened to me without therapy.

Thinking of you.
