Just saw my T and she was downloading a program while we talked. It kept interrupting itself with automatic updates, so she had to "babysit" the program. (She asked me if this was ok before we began. I'm pretty casual, it didn't bother me in the slightest.) While we were working, she accidentally turned off the download, so I decided to give her a little computer advice, and showed her how to disable screen savers, automatic shutoffs, and the main culprit, automatic updates.

It really made me feel good that I could help her for once instead of the other way around. Of course, my session was extended for those few minutes to make up for the time, and we did discuss everything I needed to discuss. Plus we raised one of my meds. Ugh! But I still came home feeling very good about myself.

That's wonderful. It is nice when we get a chance to help those who help us. Glad that worked out for you.

Sorry about the med change. Hope it turns out to be successful rather than a pain in the pattootie.

I'm thinking positively tonight, so I'm going to say it will be good for me, as it will alleviate some of the depression. Of course, it may also make me dizzy again, as too much Lamictal tends to do to me. But I don't think we raised it high enough for that effect. And if does make me dizzy, well, I can deal with the room spinning for the few days it will take to get the extra dose out of my system. Besides, being dizzy at night gets me out of doing the dishes

It's so nice to feel needed, isn't it? Sounds like you have a good therapist .
