it has hit me hard this time around been on my meds now for a year sometimes im fine sometimes im not like today got in from work at 8.10 am had a chat with hubby , a look at the forums quickly also looked at the web site for our local hosing office no houses in our area to bid for ,didnt panic stayed calm ,
went to bed as hubby isnt sleeping while i work he also went to bed , i hear a most things when i sleep so i heard the post at somepoint arrive , at 1.30pm i crawled out of bed picked up post then took it back to bed to go through , daughter whos at collage is waiting for her passport had a letter saying they need aditinal information i couldnt get hold of daughter so i phoned them and explained she needs passport mon morning to go paris as part of her course they said it wouldnt be here in time, evntually daughter phoned me explining that they are not issuiong her passpirt with out additional evidence because i had ticked a box no , this box was have you a criminal record i had forgotton that at fourteen she was acoused of vandilism she said she didnt do it we beleved her but the policeman said to keep the peace she had to pay towards the damages so she did, didnt realise this would give her a criminal record for the next 4 years , so down to me forgetting simple things she wont be going to paris which had her crying down the phone and me not being able to nothing for her i allready felt bad not being able to help pay for this trip which the collage eventually funded but if somebody doesnt take her place she will have to pay back the 2hundred pound

I think you're being way too hard on yourself. Seems to me you're blaming yourself for something that could easily have happened even if you weren't depressed. I can see how you would have overlooked her having a criminal record under those circumstances. I know you feel bad about having let her down but you are obviously remorseful.

I can see how you would have overlooked her having a criminal record under those circumstances. I know you feel bad about having let her down but you are obviously remorseful.

Sounds like a time you're having. It isn't the end of the world, what your daughter might have to do: give up the trip AND repay the loan.... we all pay for things we did and didn't do, long after the event. Try and have a good spirit through this (I know, depression hinders that) as it will help your daughter learn to handle life situations better too. TC

As a mother myself, I can feel your pain and I am so sorry. I know that you are hurting because your daughter is and there is nothing you can do about it.
