Need hugs. Need to know someone cares and that things will get better. Am I suchange a terrible person that I deserve to feel this way? (

Sending some virtual hugs to you! You aren't alone, I could have written your post, too.

It's tough for me to say things will get better soon as my symptoms have only gotten worse over the last few years. Still, from all that I've learned (from doctors/therapist, talking with others with mental illness and doing research on my own) things will ultimately get better, so that's good news. As far as your feelings of being punished with depression? I'm not a doctor but I'd say this has nothing to do with you as a person. I think these horrible symptoms that you are experiencing are more neurological/biological than anything else. It definitely feels that way to me. Again, I'm not a doctor so I can't say it's all neurological/biological but I'd say it's more that than anything else, so maybe think of it in that way......So, NO you're *not* a terrible person and you don't deserve this horrible disease. And I'm 100% about this: There is ALWAYS someone out there that cares, even when the disease is telling you otherwise. Take care.
Thanks for this!

I like your signature "everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end.'' sending you hugs. May angels surround you .

You deserve to feel happy. We all do. A lot of people on this site are struggling or have struggled with some very hard things to overcome, and we all just wish things could be better. I know the feeling of feeling like such a terrible person. I look at people in my college and how they're succeeding with school, friends, life in general, the ones that found their happiness and then I look back at me, a lout, always depressed, not motivated enough to do anything, constantly feeling like one giant disappointment. I literally slept the entire day (from 3am-8pm) because I was too depressed to get out of bed. But I'm not a terrible person. I have made people happy, I have people that care about me even though I'm distant or disappoint them. My intentions have only been good in this world, despite making many mistakes along the way. I realize this even though I'm just a depressed oaf, lying around and wishing things could be better instead of doing something about it.

I'd love to talk to you, I just pm'ed you back! I realize I am good at making people feel better about their circumstances, so I'll do what I can

You understand the pain I'm going through, so from one gentle yet broken heart to another, I love you Jess
