I would really like to know why i can have a good day but one thing can make me incredibly depressed. Then, I dont talk to anyone or do anything. What is wrong with me? I have lived this way my whole life i just want to make sense of all of this. Why does a single song bring me down? Why do my happy memories make me sad instead of happy? Sure you could say I wish life was like how it was then and in some cases I do but i feel like there is more to it than that. Nostalgia is what kills me, it gives me that empty heavy feeling in my chest and it hurts to hold back the tears.

Hi Nicholas - It sounds to me like you are the victim of depression, and you should probably see a therapist. Are you out of school? If not, you could see your school counselor. OR talk to your parents about it.

If you are out of school, please see a therapist - he can help you cope/deal with the depression. If you cannot afford a therapist, at least see your medical doctor.

I wish you the very best. Please keep us posted. Depression can be a very nasty illness to cope with. God bless and please take care. Hugs, Lee
