Did you apply for WORKERS COMPENSATION? You should have if you were hurt on the job! When did this happen? If it was recent, go back and apply! You need to be PAID by workers compensation! And they need to pay your hospital/medical bills!
As long as you're off work recuperating, they'll pay your wages and medical bills. So apply for it thru your employer! You deserve it! God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee

God hasn't left you. He's there, sending you the right people at the right time. Be patient finding work takes time.
Do apply for Workers Compensation, and with faith and action God will be there to help you, and send you the help you need, just be patient. |

Welcome to PC Campigone and so sorry you lost your job due to injury. Things seem desperate at the moment but hang in there - circumstances can change. Take the advance from Leed and the other poster - take advantage of lost wages, compensation and any insurance coverage you have. There's also social assistance if the other ones fail. Also encourage you to think about filing for bankruptcy - true its a blow to the ego but there also the positive side of being free from debt.
I understand much of self worth is from what we do, but you still deserve to live and get through this bad stage. Make some calls to see if you're getting all the support you're entitled to. Be patient and get some professional help - remember this time will pass. Imagine if we lived in a world where others said - "well if you're injured and can't work, then you don't deserve to live." You wouldn't do this to someone else so don't be harsh on yourself. I'll pray you get a good break and support.

When I was younger my depression was a lot worse than it is now. Back then I didn't care about myself, other people, the present, the future or anything else. Everyday felt like a chore. But I never contemplated suicide. The one thing that always kept me going was the hope that I could make my life better somehow. I didn't know how I would do it but I knew I had to. You have to fight for that whatever it is. I can't remember much of anything from that time but I do remember that much.
As far as God goes maybe you should ask for the strength to get through your bad times. A clear mind is so much more important than the things that you plan to do with it.
