I was in the middle of thanking everyone who replied to my very first post.. or is it called "thread". Also, are the topics aka "forum"? So when I see all the usernames on left of screen underlined in blue, then to the rite of the screen it says "view", "reply" next to each username, do I click on my choice of a username & reply to only that person? I will click on submit new thread. But who & how many is my message going to?

Please help me,, no one in my life understand depression, & Psych Central is just what I need.
What is "tag" used for? There is so much to learn. Is there anything simple I can click on, on this site that will show me how to navigate?

Thanx again!!!
FAITHLOVE

I'm not good at technical stuff or helping people figure out but to assure you I see your post fine. You need to post five times, read the help/faq at the top of the forums. I hope you keep posting
Lots of good people here....maybe you have figured things out?

To me a thread is what you get when someone makes a post and it gets replies.
These are forums
I don't see a view button but I see the other buttons in each members post in a thread. The reply button will quote that person's message in your reply. There is a button with a quotation mark next to the reply button. That is used if you want to reply to multiple posts and quote each post in your reply.
When you click on the new thread you begin a new thread Your new thread can be read by anyone and everyone. It's yours... the topic is your choice.
A tag is just for later use when someone wants to search for a particular word or subject.
Hope that helps

Welcome, Faithlove! You'll find some technical tutorials here, but help should be available along the way. Keep posting!

Hello faithlove,
Welcome to the forum. It's a good place to vent and share experiences with the group, ask questions, or whatever. The members are here to help each other, and I've not run into any judgemental bs.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
