Okay, so I was laying in bed last night, my mind going it's normal speed. But certain things kept on stopping so I could think on them.
One of them was have I been this way all my life? For me things have been bad since August 2010, that is when things got bad. They have gotten exponentially worse since, but that is the date it started. But even before that, I have been told that I was moody all the time, and thought to much, and had mood changes. Could I have been what ever it is that is wrong with me all my life and just not known about it, with August 2010 being the trigger? The second thing was generational. My father, mother, and siblings don't suffer from this. I don't see them suffering the same or with similar issues. My grandfather, who I never met, was schizophrenic. Is there a chance that mental illness skipped 2 generations and took root in me? The only other option is that I am the first, which isn't a good thought. |

I don't know about skipping generations for schizophrenia but I think it's possible.
I suffer from depression. It can run in families. I think that my sister and two brothers suffer from it, but won't admit it. My father did and I think that his father did too. So it should be no surprise that I have it. |

Probably it is that we are not hunter gatherers any more.
Some people react differently to urbanization because its not natural. The number one thing natural thing that is missing most of the time is exercise. When you are a hunter gather society you must forage and hunt to survive. This requires lots of exercise and you are in the sun all day. So to me its more a form of atrophy that leads to mental illness most of the time. Lack of exercise. |

In addition to lack of exercise, we are more sedentary and surrounded by distractions and entertainment.
Robots in this past generation are taking over jobs. Another contributing factor. Sugary foods and foods engineered to create addiction leading to malnutrtion. Kids actually cannot tell what a vegetable is anymore. The list goes on. |
