today i went to a day resouce centre , just to see if it would be any good for me to attend, they have a lot of things that they offer --
help, support and advice
opportunities to develop skills which may improve my quality of life
groups in handicraft, cooking, art and music

it all seemed good and i am very interested but just the idea of spending time with strangers fills me with fear, dread.
this fear and dread didnt help as ive been down for most of this week, i ended up down the doctors. i told her how i was feeling and now i have more meds to take, ive now got diazepam to take
im going to start rattling soon when i walk.

Being around strangers scares me, too. But the resource center really sounds like it has SO much to offer!! I think it would be great for you. Plus, they won't be strangers forever if you start going regularly! resource centre

So sorry you've had a rough week. I hope you start feeling better soon.

i know you can get past this and i know you are not crazy, or if you are crazy so am i, i also know the dread of being linked to your relations that use this resource center but they are only your relations because your mum married your stepdad and his brothers and sister have mental health issues as well ,this doesnt mean you are like them you are getting some help

Wow I'm glad you found the resource center... maybe they and the meds will help you be able to be around strangers easier. TC!
