Hi everyone,
I've been in bed most of the past 2 days, just zoning out trying to push away the negative and painful feelings. I was just thinking probably I should eat today. But honestly I don't want to. I'm not interested in food. Or eating alone. I just found myself wondering what's the point of eating? I can't find one. What's the point of doing a whole bunch of stuff when you don't care and don't feel happy anyway? |

I feel the same. I hate eating. I do it since I lost some weight when I first got depressed but I can't lose anymore (T asks me about that stuff), so I mostly eat crap while I lie here and wonder what the point is. So we are pretty much at the same point, I guess.
I don't care about anything, but my cats force me to make sure I take care of their needs a few times a day, and they are nice company. And I do shower since I guess I should. Otherwise, I have no interest in anything. Hugs to you, I hope you feel better soon. ![]() |

I'm so sorry that you are feeling so badly. What kind of weather is there where you live? Would it be possible to go outside for a few minutes? Maybe someone can buy you some dates or nuts. They taste good and don't need any preparation.
I just hope you keep posting. We're pulling for you |

I just talked to my T about that last week and she said to take some multi vitamins. They will help u get what u need and it will also make u want to eat. I havnt tried it yet but that's what she does when she gets that way.

![]() I feel the same way about food a lot of the time. I have a lot of medications to take, and I suffer physically if i don't take them with food. I hate that feeling like I'm gagging to choke something down, only to have a means to digest my medication. You'd think I'd at least be skinny, but at other times I overeat, just to feel something. So nobody seems to know I have a weird relationship with food. I like the idea of having some less perishable snacks, I think bharani mentioned it. Just nibble maybe a little at a time, if you can get yourself to do it. Fluids are more important than food. Sometimes even a glass of juice can help me elevate my mood just enough to do one small task. Maybe a serving of gatorade or something else with sodium, sugar, and water in it? Even just a glass of water can be refreshing. Sometimes a drink of water seems to remind my stomach that I need to eat and I start to feel hungry. ![]() |

I'm going to have some juice, thanks. Good idea. I've been unable to eat a meal all week. I'm so upset /crying, keep having gagging reflexes.
I did get some dates actually and have been making myself eat a handful every day. It's sunny every single day where I live, but I don't enjoy going outside anymore. I try sometimes, but it does nothing. Maybe I have an excuse? It's REALLY hot now where I'm living, so also not that comfortable most of the hours of the day ![]() H3rmit, Korean food is probably my favorite. I would go eat it on my own right now, but I'd have been honored to join you for a Korean meal. Thanks everyone. |
