I feel sooo down today... having trouble coping with the day - my apartment is a complete and utter mess! it looks like a tornado ran through it, but I am having trouble getting motivated to change it. Have been having VERY negative thoughts about the purpose of everything to the point of feeling a bit scared of myself... Having trouble coping... tomorrow i'm actually going on vacation for 2 weeks, but yet having trouble getting motivated to pack! what's wrong with me!!! I should be happy - I love travelling (usually)... feel lost, feel like i'm losing my mind... HELP!!! don't know what to do anymore - switching meds because the last 1 didn't help, doing therapy - what more can I do? feel sooooo lost!!!

Hi Ouch,
I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today too. very blue
Maybe if you force yourself to pack then the excitement of going away will hit you and change your mood. Besides dirty dishes-leave the mess for when you come back home.
(((((((Ouch))))))) I hope your mood lifts soon.

{{{Ouch}}} Make yourself a cup of tea and a little island in your chaos and do a little reading or writing for a bit? Whatever self-comforting behaviors you use. Maybe just make a list of what you want to pack later, what you're going to really need. I always pack too much, no matter how I plan it LOL.

How long have you been having trouble with this new med? Maybe its the problem?

Maybe a nice nap or a nice long walk will help you to feel better. When you get low like this it is best to get your mind off things and just relax. Don't worry about the mess until you are feeling better though. But seriously, a walk or a nap will help you to feel better. You just need to get your mind off of things. Hang in there. *hugs*

I was in the same place right before what should have been a fun vacation. I packed the morning we left.......try to take your mind off of the "having" to pack and do something else for a couple of hours. I do hope once you get gone you will have a great and relaxing trip.
