I have been depressed for awhile but lately it has been worse. Right now I just want to explored. My body feels likeit is shaking, one of my doctors say it could be because ofthe change in manufactor of one of my prescriptions. Hopefully that is whats causing it.
Dealing with the unknown going on in my house with my family is causing me to feel like I am going to explode. I am alone, I have no friends and my family hardly knows how I am feeling. They don't even notice the physical signs that are in plain view. I cut to feel and to take away thefeelings I am having and they don't even notice the marks. Sometimes I just want everything to go away. I don't fit in with anyone Iam always alone no matter if I am surrounded by people or no one is around. I hate myself I am a disappointment. |

It almost sounds as if you're having a reaction to your medication. Sometimes they can make depression worse. Especially with the cutting, you're essentially "self-medicating". Injury releases endorphins and adrenaline to give you the feeling you're mentioning.
I understand the alone feeling, especially if your family isn't noticing your marks. There is a mental phenom ... phomem ... a mental action where people will see someone, know who they are and then their mind fills in the details so they don't see changes. Many a husband has gotten in trouble for not noticing their wife's new haircut because of this. What I'm saying is that it may not be them ignoring you so much as they are comfortable with you and are filling in your details. Not actually seeing the marks. Help them out and show them, none of us wants your feelings to get worse. |

I hope you can feel that at least with us on PC you can feel connected to someone. We can fully understand your pain since we also experience it. I have found the live chat very soothing when I needed to feel connected somewhere. I also feel that way in the social clubs. I hope you find some that you like.
It's true that it may be just that your family sees what they expect to see and not that they don't care. You may need to explain things to them. I know this is hard but if you use this site as a reference you may get a bit more courage. I hope you feel better soon. |
