I'm scared of going through life and never feeling better.

Poppy, you aren't the only one. But , in my experience, I know that I will have ups and downs. I just hope that my ups out weigh my downs.

I would like just one up right now. It seems to just keep going down.

Unfortunately Poppy, we have to suffer through the downs, work through them, come out stronger, before we can have ups. Hang in there. You aren't alone Poppy.
Thanks for this!

I know. I just wonder if I'll ever come out. Keep changing stupid meds.

And that does suck big time. But once you find the right combo, you will be amazed. You have friends here. Just keep on keeping on.

Do you know what I tell myself when I'm in the pits of despair? I tell myself "Don't let the bastard win." That bastard is the depression. I refuse to let it beat me. Poppy, refuse to let it beat you.

Please believe that things will get better. I've gone through so many meds, and while nothing is perfect, I have found a good combo and have been feeling much less depressed these past few weeks. I tend to cycle, but am really hoping that maybe I am starting to make some progress. It's been a long battle, and I know it's hard, but please keep fighting and believe that you are worth it. Do everything you can to fight the feelings: things you enjoy, opposite emotions (if you're feeling depressed, try watching a funny movie or reading a feel good type of book, etc.) I used to feed into my depression, but now I try to challenge it and it's been working!

Sending positive thoughts your way! And remember, I am just a PM away!
