Been there done that (many times over) - my normal bedtime routine is to stay up until about 3 AM then sleep until 9 AM - take an hour NAP around 5 or 6 PM.... then start the routine all over again at 3 AM.

I am up while the rest of family sleeps..... I HATE having INSOMNIA!

Oh wow I thought I was the only one with odd sleeping behaviours.

Its 2:02am here right now. I said I was going to bed at 1am. Not a chance. Been up until 3am basically every night for at least the last two weeks. Before that, it was 2am. It seems I'm getting less and less sleep. I know stress is a big factor but still ...

I wish I could take a nap in the afternoon. That would make me very happy. But nope, not going to happen because there's too much to do. (blech)

So I will be up until 2:30-3am and sleep until 7am and then do it all again tomorrow "night".

sleeping sleeping Hope sleep finds everyone eventually tonight.

wow... glad others have messed up sleeping patens too (kind of... glad in a not the only one kind of way rather than.. ye... sure you get the idea..)

I basically can never sleep for more than 1 or 2 hours in a go... so I sleep in 1-2 hour bursts at everal times throughout the day/night giving the illusion that I just never sleep...

Insomnia wouldn't be too bad if we didn't still get tired... I mean beiing awake for longer means you can get more done... but not when you end up like sleeping most of the time...

the trouble with insomnia is being so dragged out the next day...if it weren't for that...it would be okay to do everything at night and have the day to play....but it doesn't work that way! shoot!

I thought getting 4.5 to 5.5. hrs were too much! I sometimes take small naps. I don't think that's considered insomnia, is it?

I actually love not getting enough sleep. I hate having to sleep 7 to 9 hrs/day. I end up want to sleep more and get real tired.
But I agree... not enough sleep gives the illusion that the day never ends... it just rolls and rolls. Ppl will have to remind me that it's friday.
I don't get tired, though. I can go on... and on... like an energizer bunny! sleeping
