I was doing better, but I'm fffaaalllling again. I can feel it - spent 2 hours like a zombie on the couch not really doing anything - just feeling horrible. Yes, I have decreased my antidep's with the intention of going off. I had forgotten how horrible I can feel. so frustrated - why can't I be normal without meds? Falling off a cliff and don't know how to hold on!

Please take your proper med dose. If I could explain clearly to you about the brain and it's chemicals, then you would realize this isn't just about your will and your feelings. Maybe someday you will be able to live a happy life without ADs, but obviously for the time being, you can't. Your body NEEDS them to balance what is happening in the brain.

Please take your meds. dying inside again...

i completely agree with Sky, you need the meds because there is a chemical im-ballance in your brain. it isnt your fault, nor is it a bad thing. that is the reason meds are around, to help. see your doctor about increasing them back to the dose you were on before, when you were happier. it sounds like the wrong time to come off them.

if you dont mind me asking, what do you think is causing your depression? are you seeing someone, like a therapist? its always good to address the issues that are causing the depression as well as taking the medication, this way you will be able to come off sooner and to be able to remain off them.

if you dont want to talk about the reasons that are causing depression, or the reasons you THINK are causing them, then you dont have to, as long as you think about them and process them. and i would advice you to see a therapist if you arent already.

take care of yourself, and you know im here for you if you need me.
