I just finished working my typical 11 hours a day. My favorite co-worker was in a bad mood from stress and she became irate with me. She hurt my feelings by implying I am stupid because I am having a little trouble catching on to the new software from the new company. I told her I'm not stupid and I will learn it, then she really got angry. Work is hard. I haven't started my new anti-anxiety medication yet because I'm afraid it will make me sleepy. I take my citalopram 40mg for what good it does. I'm sort of depressed but really I'm just too tired to care anymore. Just need to vent.

I hope tomorrow is better! It's too bad your coworker was in a crappy mood and taking it out on you. I hope she apologizes or is at least in a better mood tomorrow.

Been there, done that. I have had numerous jobs over the years and as my training would progress on various software applications and/or on a new piece of equipment the people I had to work with would vary on their temperament and often I was stuck with someone for a day or weeks who would complain and act childish in the way I was absorbing the training.

Makes for a long day for some and turns into self hate and loathing for us depressive types.

Hard day

Vent away. I hope the next few days are less rough on you. I also hope you find something that makes you smile tomorrow

Much better day today. I worked a long hard 12 hr day but I didn't have to deal with attitudes. I had a patient give me a compliment. He said I'm the best Medical assistant in the office. I'm no better than anyone else. I do care about my patients and their welfare. I thought a lot about my parents today. They passed away 4 years ago and I still miss them. Thanks everyone for your caring and support.
