It seems like my Depression and Anxiety are worse in the daytime. I will wake up feeling ok then a few minutes later I feel fear and dread. I am having memory problems and sometimes slurred speech. I have suffered bouts of depression since my early twenties. It seems like each depression is worse than the last and harder to get out of.

I can empathize with you; the idle times are the worst, particularly with that feeling of dread. A good friend of mine described depression as the cold, gray hand of death behind you, reaching for your shoulder at all times...the comfort that I take is that I've been through this before and come out of the depressive episode better from it. I hope that you can work your way through the depression too. I am in the throes of it now, and working like heck to get out of it...

Unfortunately my insurance does not cover Mental Healthcare. I am self Employed. I have to pay for my own insurance coverage and it is not cheap. i am glad for this site so i do not feel alone. I have been through many depressions and had therapy in the past. I know it is just a matter of me thinking, what has gotten me through it in the past. I know sometimes when i am in a depression, its like i forget everything i know that has helped in the past.
