I was invited to a friends house (old friend of the family) for a last min BBQ today. Not sure if I wanna go.

Goig- if I go, I can see my friend who I haven't seen in a number of months, it might give me a chance to relax, my parents are going so I could just grab a ride with them.

Staying- it was last minute invite do I'm sure he won't care if I don't go. My parents are going either way so if I don't go I'll be able to relax here at the house without them. I won't have I pretend I care. I won't know many people there anyhow. The party is an hour away.

So do I go or do I stay?

Always go, don't let the depression win. You can do it, even if you only can go for a short time. Friends can be a mood lifter
Thanks for this!

I think you should go out there. A change of scenery could be quite beneficial.

I think it would do you good to go. Focus on having a good time instead of your troubles.

Listen to The Clash: "If I go there will be trouble, if I stay it will be double".

So unless you want to double your trouble, go.
Thanks for this!

Lol ahhhh I'm so confused! I decided to stay. I'm watching tv and relaxing. Thanks guys. I think I made the right decision for me at this point in time. We shall see. Now I'm supposed to take my godson to the park tomorrow- it's an hour just to get to him - I already don't wanna go :/
