i think that what you mean is that you DON`T want people to give you tips for "a way out" becasue it feels judgmental and as if they are impatient?
at least the way they are saing it! they may have a good meaning..... but i understand more or less..maybe there are not "tips" but really expression of impatioence and such.. nd being a student sucks sometimes !!! i know!!!! |

((((canders)))) I think many ppl here do understand you and depression also. And if you've read any of my early postings here, you know how I have battled this also.
I think there is a fine line between enabling and supporting when it comes to depression. It also depends upon how dark the waters are for you at the time a comment is made. No one's at fault, it just happens. I think also it's part of what makes battling depression more difficult? Stay the course. Try and do the thought stopping when you can, it will help. If you can counter even one thought today, that's good. Rumination of the past and how horrible the present is and how dark the future will also be just pushes us further into the darkness. There's something about the darkness, imo... it doesn't want us to go and there's a weird comfort being there...and the desire to go further into the dark is what we have to fight... sometimes there are ppl on the other end of that fight... no one can pull you from this alone... you have to help... and even when you can't and don't feel like it... try and do something to keep from going darker... it really isn't a good place, I know. ((((hugs)))
