Oh joys...how i just loveliving in the uk -not -

just had a letter from mental health team. was referred last friday as emergency. just got my appointment -19th march. wow they really care don't they. so - how many more weeks of feeling like this. great.

slept? no
happy? no
desperate? getting there
crying continuously? yes
doing silly things that don't help situation? oh yes
brain more like a jelly than a brain, constantly analysing, can't stop. stopped eatinow, which is good cos i need to lose weight - but i'm sensible and know i should eat =but can't.

very close to throwing myself through the doors of a mental institution and asking them to lock me in a cell somewhere out of the way.

sorry to rant, had to get it out.

wish i could swear....

kerry xxxx

Sorry you're having such a rough time, Jin. ((((((Jin)))))))

If it makes you feel any better, I'm at my wit's end trying to find some support, too.

There just aren't enough support workers out there in the world.......sad.

Btw, I wish I could swear, too. If I could, I'd swear for you, too, damnit!!

Why don't you try writing some good four letter words down? That might help.........

If you get any worse, go to the hospital. Take care of yourself, Jin.

Or try cranking some angry tunes..........Rage Against the Machine usually works........they have plenty of swearing.......................

Go to limewire.com. Download "Killing In the Name Of". That's a tune that'll get you going.........

Good luck, Jin

i argee, the mental hee-alth !! system in the uk sucks, i have been having my own share of problems with my cpn and support worker (they are useless)
ive been waiting nearly 6 mths to get an appointment to see someone to change my meds, as they don't seem to be working anymore.
i think desy has a good point about cranking up some angry tunes to shout along to. i find that if i shout along to NWA . straight out of compton.... i feel a bit better afterwards. *^&$£% and *^%$($ and "£^£!*^£$ .
thats better
take care both of you

The NHS is generally quite good for physical illnesses and disorders (not always)

But not good for mental health issues generally (although sometimes it is... for some disorders or if you shout loud enough wish i could swear....... lots of the doctors here appear to need some not so gentle nudging wish i could swear....)

If you did get a T, do they dictate how often you are scheduled for visits? Like, do they say come once a week or once a month? How is that controlled?

(sorry jinnyann if we are hijacking)

That sort of thing....... it's usually weekly or fortnightly but not for very long on the NHS. It depends on the disorder(s), the Health Authority (area) and the doctors opinions which vary a lot (not surprisingly) wish i could swear....

Geez.....mental health coverage seems to blow everywhere...

We "need" it so to be a more functioning society regardless of where we are.

Kerry, cleaning the house, yes, very therapeutic indeed.....my vice is laundry........

Glad you're reportig some happy moods as well. Hang in there, YOU are the most powerful motivator of your self and your thoughts and I hope you can keep your spirits high while the system shuffles your paperwork a bit...

Still cussing over here.......$%^##@*&*!!!!
