I'm a broken shell who deserves to die, I have to everything I've ever done... The happiness that I've got ever had is gone, tears hitting my frail arms feel like knives cutting my skin the person that I was is broken, is torn up into a million pieces...I'm a sad shell... A broken shell... And dying at this point is my best point

Macy, I am sorry you are so depressed. I am glad you came to Psych Central. Dying is not an option that I would consider. Getting help is.
There are times where our old happiness has set and our new happiness has not risen. They call it the "dark night of the soul". It isn't easy but with help we get through that with help. Having a psychiatrist prescribe meds to stabilize the moods can be helpful. A therapist can help get to the root causes of our dilemma. If you have not been eating healthy food, try to have some soup or yogurt or something to help your brain get enough protein so it gets out of panic mode.http://blogs.psychcentral.com/channe...-safety-plans/ Anyone in your situation should also have a safety plan. Suicide Safety Plans | Channel N This safety plan gives us the safety net we may not need now, but have available if needed. It is recommended everyone with thoughts about death should make one immediately. The above link describes a safety plan. You can private message me or any community liason or moderator for further questions or support. We care about you and all the other people here at PC.

Hi macy666, I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I understand how horrible it can be, I've gotten to that point before.
What kind of things do you enjoy? Reading, hiking, exercising, playing videogames, watching movies, arts and crafts, etc.? Those are some things, just general ideas of stuff to maybe get into. Find a hobby. If you don't have anything you enjoy currently, that's understandable too. One coping skill I've found very helpful is journaling, it gets all of your feeling out on paper. Have you considered therapy? It could be helpful for you, and if necessary a psychiatrist to prescribe medication. Things will get better, they may not seem like that now but there is always hope. We're all here for you ![]()
