I feel like my life is one long Olympic hurdles race. As soon as I jump one, another pops up, and just when I think I can see the end, I turn out to be wrong. For every one I jump successfully, there's another 10 to clear, and it never ends, and I'm just so tired. Physically, mentally, emotionally -- I'm just worn out.

People occasionally say nice things about me obstacle courses and one of the comments I often get is that they admire my passion for fighting injustice. It ticks me off when I see it and I do what I can, however limited that might be -- but I can't do it for myself and at this point I don't even want to. I'm just tuckered out. I am tired of fighting. When do I get some peace?

(((((((((((((((((((candybear)))))))))))))))))))))) You certainly have had your share and then some of hurdles this year. But you have made it over each one. You have so many good qualities that I think you sometimes overlook. You are a wonderful person.

Please keep on jumping those hurdles. Hopefully soon they will turn into small hurdles to overcome. Please take care.

It sounds like you feel obligated to jump each one of the hurdles and you are tired of it. What if you made the obstacle course. What would it look like and where would it lead to. Why does it have to be an obstacle course?

Taking good care of other people and sticking up for them is awesome, but time also needs to be spent validating yourself as being worthy as well. I know this all too well and am in a terrible way these last few weeks.

You are not alone. Don't change your screen name to ghost. There are many of us out here.

I'm new to this, so tell me if I am stating the obvious and I certainly would be appreciative of any criticism.

Take Care. Try running around a couple hurdles or ask somebody to rub your feet after a particularly long race.

Hi Candybear,
I'm sorry you're so tired. I understand what you mean by the hurdles. I don't know when peace comes-it would be nice if someone were to knock down those hurdles for you but they could be there for you to jump over for a reason. They'll make you stronger, I guess.
Don't be discouraged. You're doing great. You'll find peace soon enough and then you'll be looking around for something to do.

You are NOT invisible here, NOT NOT NOT. I'd miss you if you disappeared, so stay put. I happen to love my friend very much. obstacle courses

Can you try to take some of that energy and will that you put towards helping everyone else and devote it to yourself, doing something you enjoy, that would help you? It doesn't need to be a big thing, but even taking an hour or two to do something enjoyable can be beneficial.

I hope you find some peace soon.

That does sound like a tiring feeling. Take the field and move them around some? It's your course, you shouldn't be jumping hurdles for anyone else or "against" anyone else (contest). Take some time for yourself, just "drop out" for a bit, sit on the grass and enjoy the Spring day.

Candybear,

I'm sorry you are feeling so tired right now. I still think it has something to do with your relatively new med. obstacle courses

Of course not just anyone can do your job either. So many deadlines! obstacle courses

Anyway I have a new issue regarding my husband's medical issurance, which seems hopeless, b/c I can't get to anyone that knows anything. Then I have another problem for me, created by my prescription insurance company breaking the law, which no one will resolve for me.

Hey, I'll drive up, and we can have a pizza party, and cry in our beer.

((((((Candybear))))))

Love,

EJ
