Heavens, I'm lazy. I'm studying for a Masters and am struggling very much to feel motivated to start, let alone finish, assignments. Although I am fascinated by the subject, my procrastination levels continue to reach new lofty heights.
I keep experiencing headaches and fatigue though they could be psychosomatic. Currently I'm laying in bed at 2.20pm because of a headache. And, let's be honest, because I can.

I don't have a job, just volunteer work a couple of times a week.

I've recently started exercising properly - 3 gym sessions each week. I have tried to enforce structure on my day with diary planning and breaking down study goals.

How do you get and stay motivated and focused?

I wish I knew. Maybe we'll get some ideas from others.

I wish I had the answers. I just graduated and need to study for my boards and here I am, in my pjs at almost 3pm, on the Internet. Plus I have a test in my online stats class (taking it for my degree continuation) due by the end of the day that I've not studied for. I thought I was the only one who struggled like this, lol.

Depression is usuall the worst for me at this time of year. Maybe commit to doing a little bit at a time, an hour of work with a half hour break? That's how I got through.

Oh, I relate to this far too much! I'm absolutely awful. I work part time, but the rest of the time you can generally find me in bed!

I'm always telling myself I need to change everything, and I have such plans about how to get my whole life in order, but it's too much to expect of myself and I don't follow through. I manage better when I try to change one thing at a time and don't expect miracles from myself. Break it up into little changes that you can make one at a time.

I hope you find something that helps.
