so for all of those who have read my last posts, i have went up to the hospital for help. though i dont know why because they never help. all they want at this point is to shut me up with meds so they dont have to deal with me anymore. they never listen to what i say so why should i care about what they think the problem is when i already know and they dont want to believe it. so for all of those who care i am going to get what some consider help but what i consider a lie

I am sorry that you feel you have been treated this way jman. I know what that feels like. The psych system varies so much from country to country. In fact state to state, as people have told me. The psych team wanted to admit me this week but I refused due to the treatment I have had before in there. So I see a psych nurse every day... I do agree with you that they don't see the individual person, just the same old story. Which is not true. I hope this time is different for you, and finally get the help you need. *hugs*. Go easy on yourself. At a time like this we can make things worse for us by blaming ourselves for the way we are.. Best wishes

I have left the hospital as of the 2nd of November. And I'm feeling great I actually feel happy for once and I haven't in a long time so life is good. I'm going into DBT and I'm BPD borderline personality disorder. So for the first time I actually see the real reason I feel this way. I think it going to get better now.

I'm so pleased you feel more hopeful.
DBT will be tough but well worth it. I have BPD traits so know something of how hard it can be, but also how sweet when experiencing the more positive powerful emotions.
Wishing you the very best as you take these steps toward a more manageable life.
