I am so tired of it - nothing EVER goes right in my life, never has.

I feel like I have a target on my back or something.

And I get told "You're so likeable, so kind, blah blah blah". So that's what you get in return for that, a big fat zero. No, change that, a minus ten.

Sometimes it just seems like I'm putting in time until I die (not suicidal - meaning die whenever it happens).

Even friends and family have noticed it - nothing is ever lucky, smooth, etc. for me. Do I bring it on myself? Is it what I freaking deserve?

Why is EVERYTHING such a freaking struggle?

Direction is right.....you don't deserve it.

That being said, why is it that the 2x4 smacks you up side the head every time you turn around?
I don't know either but I just wish someone would yell "duck" every once in awhile.

I really, sincerely hope things get better for you soon.

Believe it or not, it is a little better today.

(Even though, I found out that a car that I'm getting ready to sell needs an $800 repair - I just put that amount into it in January too). I have a guy who may just take that amount off the selling price and fix it himself. Stinks, as I could use the $800 right now.

I did find out though, that the job that I just got offered has catastrophic health insurance, but that is only for things over and above prescriptions and doctor visits. Thank God!

I was in a panic last night - found out after I got home about the car, and thought I would have to pay out of pocket for all medical expenses, saw myself heading quickly toward bankruptcy and could not sleep.

So, it is getting better. I think the depression causes us to jump to the worst possible scenario in situations. Or if that is what you are used to is bad things happening.

Thanks everyone for the support. I appreciate it and hope to be feeling good enough soon to be able to reciprocate.

Glad your doing a little better today. I'm glad you found out about the insurance too. (see good things do happen).

As for the $800 --- if the car needs the repair anyway --- I would take the $800 of the selling price. Either way you don't get the $800 so let the car be someone elses headache.

Always take the things I say with a grain of salt. After all I'm a frog with curlers in her hair, wearing a bathrobe and flip flops. I don't think brains are real high on my list.

So glad that both of you are getting some relief. I agree -- let the new owner worry about the repair.

Can you believe it - he said he wanted to split the difference because I was so honest with him.

So, being nice and honest actually paid off in this case.

I'm having a hard time letting the car go though - my ex-boyfriend and my dad (both gone - boyfriend dumped me, dad died) helped me pick it out. Very emotionally attached to it. Maybe it will be better once it is actually gone.
