I've been out of the hospital for a week and doing pretty well, but yesterday I forgot to take my Campral( prevents ETOH cravings) and this AM I forgot my Viibryd (antidepressant) . I have been doing so well, but sometimes I unconsciously selfsabotage. Do any other borderlines experience this same thing. I didn't mean to forget the meds, I just was rushing around this AM and forgot. But it kind of scares me. I don't want to fall back into the pit. I am getting things done and even enjoying the holidays a bit. Any words of wisdom from friends would be appreciated.

Hi. Guiltier65 i also forget to take my meds in the am. Sometimes i take them in the pm, sometimes am, sometimes in the afternoon. As long as you take them that is key. Perhaps putting a sticky note on the bathroom mirror, the coffee pot, the refrigerator... the front door before you go out. that would work. congrats on the progress, you are doing fine. tc

I have my meds in my closet; so each morning as I get dressed - they they are. PLUS my meds are not to be exposed to heat/cold so the bathroom is not good with the hot shower.

I know when I was at my worst....I used the plastic m-f
container....think it had am and pm also....very important to stay on your meds.....if you accidently skip a round...take it the next day....also very important to take it when prescribed...i.e. morning,night....as one might make you drousy...another the opposite and awake.....this is my best advice....and don't go off of them if you start feeling great..not thinking you need.them....you can really crash and burn hard.....hope the best for you....happy holidays.....Artie
