I haven't had a therapist since mine left the community mental health clinic in June and haven't had any opportunity for another but I just read this and wanted to share:
“By abandoning the stigma associated with the disorder and being receptive to those who are concerned for their well-being or that of a loved one, we are able to initiate the conversation in a proactive, helpful way rather than reinforce destructive, negative feelings.” I'm thinking that if I just stick around here, post my goings on and how I'm doing, feeling, connecting with others, sharing goals, attending chats and forums, I will be getting therapy. I thank you all in advance for putting up with me. |

is a type of therapy maybe a good one to put to use right? but a personal therapist can focus on you and if it is a good one he/she help guide you through whats going on
is good to reach out to others that have similar situation though, to know that you are not alone - i cant get a therapist right now... no insurance... but i will be ok - i do need to talk with a good one though because i have some things i need to work through... i can't go into so much detail in forum/chat rooms !! dont give up on therapist... i lost the one i really liked a few years ago too and havn't been back since :/ maybe this april i get a chance at insurance and can try again with a new one :|

Thanks for putting up with us! It's not a case of "putting up with", we're here for each other.
