I had an assessment at an IOP today but they don't want me there half day they want me there full day. So I am starting P.H. on Monday 5 days for one or two weeks.. Then hopefully I can transition into half day.
Seems like it might be a good program for me. We'll see.

I do hope this Programme starts to ease some/all of the issues you have been battling, Dexter. It is going to be tough to cope with, but we are all going to be willing you to succeed.
Dave.

Thank you I greatly appreciate the support.
I made it to my support group tonight although very tired. It was crowded tonight so I didn't offer up a topic to talk about... Last week I monopolized the group a bit so this time I was very content to just be there. When it was over and I was walking back to my car I suddenly got a pang of anxiety about starting the program, and I wished I had brought that up as a topic. No big deal... It's normal anxiety nothing I can't handle, and maybe it is a healthy anxiety that will take my mind off of my depression this weekend. That is a hope.

Quite a slow and rough start to your recovery (insurance issues, finding a therapist), but it seems that thankfully things are really start to move. You have many friends here who are rooting for you and support you.

I have a thing to read for the IOP but today I am completely drained. I've been unable to get out of bed all day. I did have a little bit to eat.

LOL thank you Demunie. I have a new bed that I bought with my tax refund hoping it would improve my life and help my depression to change things up. Idiot. It actually made things worse.

Trying to stay away completley from caffiene though... It helps me during the day but then destroys my sleep at night.

And i've also stayed away from any alcohol since they put me on an antidepressant. (I slipped and had two glasses of wine on Thursday night)

Well, then make it chocolate milk , tea, or whatever you like
![]() I think it's great that you bought a new bed anyway. It's where you spend a lot of time, right? So it should at least be comfortable. How are you feeling today? |

Thumbs up on the chocolate milk. I have diabetes but there are some sugar free chocolate milks that I really like and I haven't had in a while... That would be a treat.
I must be subconsciously stressed out about the partial hospital tomorrow... Or it might be, it's on my mind, trying to juggle a few hours of work each day beforehand. On Tuesday we have a very important meeting with a client that I do not want to miss, it is my tech that is going to be able to answer the client's answers... so my boss scheduled it for very early in the morning so that I will be able to go to partial hospital on time afterward. But I think I am a little anxious about being late on my second day. I shouldn't worry about it. So I woke up feeling really sick this morning, wheezing with a cough, and hyperventilating since I woke up. I'm not really sure if I'm hyperventilating or if I can't catch my breath... I'm afraid to try breathing into a bag in case the problem is the opposite that I'm not getting enough oxygen.

Hmm... Can't you call in sick? Your health is way more important than your work (at the moment, of course).
I think that there's no point if you go to work beforehand, just to be exhausted as soon as you're in the hospital. Can you leave the meeting if it's taking too long? Do they throw you out of the program if you're late? ![]() Take care, *leaves sugar free chocolate milk in the thread* (I'm from switzerland, so... We have the best chocolate ![]() |

I am so out of breath today... I spoke to my friend who is a doctor and he thinks it could be a relapse of pneumonia or it could be related to my heart. I am going to the local clinic to see if it is pneumonia and tomorrow I should call my cardiologist and see if he can move up my appointment.

So the verdict it that it might be pneumonia and I am on an antibiotic again. So I can't start Partial Hospital tomorrow. I've already put in a call to see what I can reschedule. Yesterday I couldn't get out of bed all day today had an extra layer of feeling like physical crap and had to deal with going out to the doctor prescriptions calling work calling hospital program it was overwhelming but I got it all done. Feeling a little better going to see if I can get some sleep tonight.

I think I might have picked something up because I've been trying so hard to go in to work but that was important for my mental health so I don't know that there was an alternative.
And why am i up again tonight? Feeling better but insomnia. I'm cracking up.

I feel much better today but I can't go until/unless I am sure I am not infectious. I'm waiting to hear back from them... I will have to wait until they have another opening.

I am good... I heard back from the program... I don't need to wait for another opening they can hold my spot for me for a few days and I am on the schedule for Wednesday. I have a cardiologist appt tomorrow (I think the problems I was having yesterday were more heart related than pneumonia) and they want me to clear that hurdle before starting.

I'm glad that you are doing better today and that they are holding your spot for you. My hope is that all goes well with the cardiologist and that you are able to take the next step.

I"m not expecting any bad news from the cardiologist but hope for a plan for more permanent relief. If this is all about fluid build up I guess we need to find out what is causing it and how to treat it. I'm feeling better but my feet still look like overgrown misshapen potatoes. I have my sneakers on now and they are tight.
