Thank you ((((((((((((snow)))))))))))

and thanks for your comment in photos. It was a river, one big river.

I dont know if our local news reaches cnn or the sort. But, today the Corps of Engineers announced that St. Bernard Parish is now a spillway. That means when the next storm comes they have legal right to blow levees and floodgates to save the city of New Orleans. Sucks being told that you aint worth it. Ya know, whats the use anymore.

Thank you Seeker. Im jsut trying find normal again. I wonder if its out there?

It would be easier to mail you the dvds. I just gotta find where i put them. One is of my house the first time allowed back, about 45 minutes long. Then i have a few from friends who stayed, you see the surge of water coming in and getting higher and higher. Vehicles floating down the street. Its pretty intense. One friend ends up in his attic floating around and the other upstairs of his house with flood water about a foot upstairs. There is footage of residents resucing residents and chalmette high gym (the evacuation shelter) and the port, where st bernard residents where ferried across the mississippi river. I dont have any video of new orleans, but from what i hear thats what they showed on tv after it happened. Just let me know whats better for you.

That is just awful Chalm about your town being a spillway. It would upset me also especially with all the bull crap you have been through. That news would make a lot of people say to heck with it and leave or not clean up the area. Couldnt blame them....
