I have an intake scheduled in a few hours and now I'm scared that they will recommend inpatient. I have command hallucinations that instruct some bad things. These scare a lot of people, including myself. I don't want to go inpatient!!!!!! I was just in a program in July!
I woke up scared, I am supposed to be sleeping. I have the intake in 7 hours. I almost want to wake up my mom and talk to her. Or try an essential oil. I'm really down though and that concerns me. I know I need the help but...... I'm scared that they will recommend inpatient.

puzzclar can I ask why you don't want to go inpatient? If you are having hallucinations that are scaring you make a short inpatient stay can help get that under control?

Did you have a bad experience as an inpatient? I know some programs aren't as good as others, to put it politely.

I've had 8 inpatient and most were not helpful. And I want family support. Yes they may have everything all set and no commute but I also like my freedom. And the support I receive from all of you which I don't have access to with inpatient stays.
Generally speaking, I can control myself but there are times that I feel out of control and right now I need some structure.
