I haven't even been inpatient for a day yet and they are totally changing my meds. Taking me off everything I am on and starting Lamictal, Zyprexa, and Metformin. Stopping Emsam, And Seroquel. Only thing staying the same is Mirapex. I hope I don't have any withdraw symptoms. They really going at this hard core.

How in the world do you have access to the Internet? Every mental "hospital" I have been in or even heard of you don't have access to anything other than a few card games & tv.

Puzzles? Do you mean trying to figure out the BS the dr is sending your way?

Yeah I was shocked when they said I could have my phone. The 4 other times I have been inpatient they never allowed it.

Well this is a different hospital then before. They also have a computer you can use if you don't have a smartphone. A lot more freedoms at this hospital. Doesn't feel as much like a prison.

Wow that's amazing. That's one thing (among many) that I don't like about mental hospitals. You are treated a lot like a prisoner. You have very little freedom & for me my freedom is very important.

Well this sucks. I was having sleep issues before the hospital but I would at least get 4 hours of sleep. Tonight I have been up all night so far and it is 3:30am. Not sure I am going to get any sleep tonight.

How has today been?
*concerned*

I don't know about those drastic and rapid med changes...

Well I ended up not sleeping at all. Tried to nap today but didn't work. This afternoon I was feeling a little too good so I think some the nurse said I might be rapid cycling from the med changes. Just hoping to sleep tonight but I am not too sure.
