Lately I have been sleeping 10-12 hours a night consistently. Constant fatigue has always plagued my life but the excess sleep was reduced significantly when I started Vyvanse close to a year ago. I went off Prozac about 6 months ago since Vyvanse reduced many of my symptoms of depression significantly. About 2 months ago I started Lexapro when symptoms began returning and I am currently on a 20 mg dose.
Does anyone have any experience with this or advice? Should I up my Lexapro? I would consult my psychiatrist but he is in my college town 6+ hours away and I won't be there again until august. I'd like to have an idea of what to request when I call. I also have terrible night sweats when taking ssris so any suggestions on that would also be greatly appreciated.
Hugs from:

Hi nczipp. welcome to Psych Central. I am sorry you are having symptoms that are uncomfortable. no one but a psychiatrist or prescribing healthcare professionally can really give you advice. What options are available in your area for having a consultation and or session with a mental health care professional? Could you call your psychiatrist in college town? Pharmacist can give you general info.

You can also research articles that you find here https://psychcentral.com/

Hi. Welcome. You really need to have a conversation with your psychiatrist sooner then August. Can you call his office and speak with him over the phone or set an earlier appointment? Have you considered getting a pdoc that's closer in proximity for situations like this? Good luck.
