Just make sure to drink plenty of water! It might make you constipated.

OK. Just "exercised" now. I am so out of shape that I have to start with 5 minutes on the bike one day, 6 minutes the next...

I was doing good, until yesterday and today.
So, my new habit makes me improving a lot, but I realize it worn me up. After calculating, I wake up every 5AM to 10 PM+. I have very little rest. Combined with stressing over a job problem and bad weather, I end up getting cold yesterday. I'm getting better now, not fully recovered yet but at least I able to eat or think clearly again. I skip some of my habits until next week, then I need to devise a plan for good habit without make me sick. |

OK, well, instead of working out just now, I ate some frozen Indian food, but it was a hot meal, "prepared" by me, in my own house, and I made the rice from scratch ; ), so I can't complain. I also walked to and from work, which was no big deal back in NYC, but here feels like a big accomplishment.

OK I am new to this. I am going to start simple since I have been struggling with this for years and want so badly to be successful. This is even part of my goals with T. My sleep habits are horrible and I am exhausted ALL OF THE TIME.
Goal 1: Make it through one day this next week without taking a nap. (If successful my goal will move up to 2 days next week) Goal 2: Get up at 6 am each day. |

Really pissed off that I haven't been to the sports centre since Tuesday. I went sprawling going for a wide ball when I was hitting a tennis ball against the wall ( I think i'm rafa nadal haha). It didn't show itself till I woke up weds and ,ouch, it was was so painful. I think it's called turf toe. As walking there is all part of the regime i'm doubly pissed. Hopefully Monday i'll see how it goes. They phoned yesterday and I signed up for another years membership which works out at less than £5 a week for all the classes, the gym and the pool. Pretty good deal. Hope you all stick to your intentions and have a great weekend.

OK! I just rode the stationary bike for 30 min. I didn't break much of a sweat, but it's a start. 30 minutes daily should be enough to see some cardiovascular benefit if I really make it count.

I'm back from a week rest. Admittedly, I still do drawing a few times at my resting time.
I decided to draw every 2 days on working days. I would not push myself anymore if I were tired from work. Instead, I'm going to train harder over the weekend, 3 hours or more. |

OK. Let's try ths again. Last time I had a lot of success on the stationary bike, I was watching episodes of Big Love, so maybe Star Trek: TNG will help get the job done this time. As far as weight-bearing exercise goes, I've been "good" about walking to and from work, now that it's a little cooler outside.

I have had some busy weeks. Sorry I haven't been in here. But now I'm here. I feel tired and frightened. Am really scared to fall deeper and deeper into depression. For tomorrow I will try restart my old routines. I hope it is possible to just jump into them. Wish me luck!

To morrow I will continue to try to make my morning-routines go on autopilot (jump into them the way I remebered them - it worked this morning).

'I didn't do well for a few past weeks.
10 PM Phone restriction: I need to contact my other friends to discuss a 'problem' with group call. Unfortunately, we're all free after 9. I'm going to break this rule until the problem solved. Drawing & Squat: I was lazy, that's all. I still do it twice or 3 times per week. I add some new habits: Learning English: I want to improve my English (I'm not native English speaker). Note: if you see any bad grammar, tenses, etc in this or my other posts, you can help me by pointing it out. Pet Turtle Care: I want to spend more time with her, when I'm still able. |

I'm slightly improving than my last post. I can sleep below 10PM again. I'm doing badly in squats. I'm just re-starting again
![]() I should look at my health now. So, I keep switching between English learning and drawing. If I'm ok, I would drawing. If I'm too tired from work, I would listening to English podcast instead. So far, I'm doing good on this one. |

Why haven't I come across this thread so far? Really great idea.
I've always had problems sticking to a routine too. Often I just end up procrastinating on one thing on my schedule and thereby mess up my entire day and don't get anything done. I'm trying to get back to sticking to a schedule at the moment. I hope I can make some progress and get order in my life again. |

Not doing too well today. Yesterday I had to do a lot of chores and didn't find the time to do anything productive. I was planning to get up at 8 AM, do some productive stuff in the morning and visit a museum in the afternoon.
But for some reason, I couldn't sleep and woke up much too late, at noon. Now I haven't got anything done and it's already the afternoon. Rather frustrated right now. Why do I have to be like this? |

Presently I am suffering from mild depression with anxiety attacks and intermittent anger outbursts.
My goals for the next 2-3 weeks would be: 1)I plan not to sleep for more than 7-8hrs at night. I generally fall asleep by 12am, so I can plan to get up by 7:30am every morn. 2)Force myself out of the house at least 2-3times every week. 3)I have been avoiding cleaning my room and the house. So force myself to clean at least a little bit every day. Maybe keep half an hour for cleaning every day. 4)Exercise : 15mins + 15mins of aerobics and breathing exercises and 20mins + 20mins of walking every day. 5)Follow a healthy diet. No overeating. Hope I'll get your support in this like last time. |

Okay, I haven't been able to do anything with routines...and I think my OCD is the reason why.
Seriously, I have barely done anything except sleep the past 2 weeks. In fact, I can barely distinguish the days of the past two weeks because they've just run by so fast and I've slept through them. I feel like I'm in a living coma. So I'm trying to start a new routine today and I've done a lot of thinking about how to design it to build it up to make it successful, so I'm hoping this will work. I have until 10am to get myself up and ready. At 10am I'm going for a brisk 2 mile walk with my dogs and then I will do some calisthenics and stretching. Then I will clean up and go to the library for a couple of hours to get some work done, since I seem to have trouble accomplishing work at home. Then I will come home and to a sort of trade off thing doing 15 minutes of cleaning up then 15 minutes of whatever. And I'll do that off and on for a little while until it's time for the dog park. I've done a lot of experimenting and analyzing my behaviors and I think this routine will work. Will let you know tomorrow how I managed. Seesaw
